The inspiration behind Rill comes from the slow transformation of matter under natural force. Weathered stone, water-carved cavities and porous geological surfaces informed the design language of the piece. The design translates those features into an organic yet controlled geometry.
The surface of Rill is where concept and fabrication technics meet. Flowing vertical ridges create a tectonic language that captures the visual memory of water running across a solid mass. The texture is continuous, directional and light-responsive, allowing the vase to shift in appearance as shadow moves across it.

Though inspired by natural erosion, Rill is resolved with careful proportion and digital precision. Its height, opening, and base have been calibrated to create a balanced composition and a stable vessel. This measured geometry gives the piece a strong sense of refinement, allowing its expressive surface to sit within a clear architectural order.
